Features: The heroic woman, Xiang Tianfang, has struggled for decades, leading her people towards common prosperity, which shocked the nation. However, the renowned national labor model, Zhao Wanshan, who possessed undeserved power, could not tolerate Xiang Tianfang surpassing him. Taking advantage of the development of an economic special zone, he attempted to completely eradicate the "Rural Metropolis" that Xiang Tianfang had painstakingly built from the vast Central Plains. His son, Zhao Jiefang, used his authority as the county magistrate to commit the horrifying Qingcaodi Massacre. Yet, none of this could deter Xiang Tianfang. She finally fulfilled the dream pursued by her ancestors for generations—to turn the world into a paradise. The novel uses the history of Chinese farmers' pursuit of dreams and the dramatic changes in rural China before and after the reform and opening-up as its backdrop, meticulously crafting vivid portrayals of a new generation of bold, thoughtful, and individualistic farmers, such as Xiang Tianfang and Lin Kangyu. It focuses on their exploration and sacrifice in pursuing the ideal of wealth. It weaves love, family bonds, nostalgia, and even fratricidal conflicts and family betrayals into a grand narrative. The author maintains the consistent writing style of Good Breeze, Good Rain and Good Father, Good Mother, using language rich in earthy charm to vividly tell a modern legend from the grassroots. It sings the main theme of the "Three Represents," upholds the ideal banner of the Communist Party members, praises the righteous song of reform and opening-up, and composes an epic of the ambitions of Chinese farmers. It is highly readable.
