With the changes and development of feudal political, economic, and cultural systems, the situation of the Hundred Schools of Thought competing in the pre-Qin period came to an end in the ideological field. From the Qin dynasty to the early Han dynasty, there was the establishment and adjustment of educational policies and official ruling thought. After Emperor Wu of Han, Confucianism finally achieved a position of exclusive dominance. From the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Sui and Tang dynasties, there emerged a situation where Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and Xuan were all present, with each school engaging in mutual struggle and mutual absorption, presenting a complex and colorful picture.
