Features: Cavafy was one of the most creative and influential poets of the 20th century. His early works were mostly "high-style" poems with romantic elements. He was serious in his writing, publishing almost exclusively short poems rarely exceeding one page. His themes often involved historical myths, philosophy, and the expression of personal emotions, showcasing a unique style. This collection of selected poems by Cavafy includes over 100 of his works, divided into three parts: Early Works, Published Poems, and Unpublished Works. The translation of this volume began in 1994 and spanned several years, with the entire project finally completed only now.
