Features: "Basic Laws of Law" is an important course that collaborates with other "Two Courses" subjects, guided by Marxism, Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, and Comrade Jiang Zemin's "Three Represents" Important Thought. It aims to provide ideological and moral normative and legal normative education for college students, cultivate their socialist rule of law awareness and legal consciousness, and is a public compulsory course. To support the teaching of this public compulsory course, we have compiled this "Basic Laws of Law" (Textbook for "Two Courses" in Ordinary Higher Education Institutions), which is suitable for undergraduate teaching in ordinary higher education institutions, fully applicable to vocational college teaching, and also serves as a learning and reference material for law enthusiasts. During the writing process of this book, the authors strictly adhere to the "Teaching Syllabus for Basic Laws of Law" promulgated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Justice, striving to ensure that the textbook content is closely aligned with the syllabus. At the same time, considering that China has enacted many new laws in recent years and existing laws and regulations have been revised frequently, the authors closely monitored newly promulgated effective laws and regulations during the writing process to ensure that the book is in line with the country's new laws and regulations. On November 8, 2004, the Ministry of Education and the China National Intellectual Property Administration jointly issued the "Several Opinions on Further Strengthening Intellectual Property Work in Higher Education Institutions," proposing to popularize intellectual property knowledge and improve the intellectual property literacy of teachers and students. It requires higher education institutions to increase the content on intellectual property in relevant courses such as "Basic Laws of Law." Therefore, this book dedicates a chapter to provide a detailed introduction to intellectual property law. This is a positive response to the new needs of the times, aligning with the new development trends and requirements of international intellectual property protection after China's entry into the World Trade Organization.
