Features: Paper is one of the four great inventions in Chinese history and has a very long history. Since the invention of paper, paper shaping art has also emerged. Today, it has developed into various forms such as paper-cutting, origami, paper weaving, paper, and paper engraving, which are widely loved by the public and have spread internationally. Paper shaping art is also a culture that reflects human wisdom and civilization. It plays a role in broadening thinking, enriching imagination, cultivating interest, and beautifying life, especially favored by young people. Through its design and creation, it can develop people's thinking, imagination, hands-on skills, and enhance aesthetic ability. This book mainly introduces the three-dimensional shaping of paper, which involves taking a flat sheet of paper through conception, shaping, cutting, and crafting to achieve a three-dimensional effect. A complete work resembles a bas-relief or a three-dimensional sculpture, capable of beautifying the environment, providing design components for architectural modeling, serving as an educational tool for art design, and more importantly, as an extracurricular teaching material for intellectual education for young people. Three-dimensional paper works are rich in a sense of the times (generalization, abstraction, and), possess artistic appeal (strong spatial sense, rhythm, and), and are easy to make, carry, and preserve. This book is divided into three parts: the first part focuses on the making of three-dimensional patterns, the second part introduces frame and block organization shaping, and the third part introduces three-dimensional animal making. Each part includes illustrative examples for reference. The original title of this book is "Complete Guide to Three-Dimensional Paper Cutting." Since its publication in 1994, it has been warmly welcomed by a broad readership and has been paired with "Fun Origami," "Fun Paper Puzzles," and "Fun Paper Cutting" to form a series called "Paper Fun Series." This allows readers to systematically master paper art techniques and gain even greater enjoyment.
