Features: This level of the tutorial further extends ear training and sight singing, which is built upon the foundation of European traditional music, by incorporating materials and techniques from Western and modern Chinese music since the 20th century. In the meter and rhythm section, it adds learning content such as non-metered, compound meter, rhythmic value changes, and non-sequential rhythms. In the intervals and chords section, it introduces interval and chord discrimination training focused on independent intervals and sounds, as well as vertical stacking combinations of intervals, and non-triadic chord discrimination. In the melody and mode section, it takes the early main stylistic trends of modern music as the main thread, selecting representative works of over ten composers as the primary teaching content. This level is the advanced level of this set of ear training and sight singing tutorials. The target learners are students or postgraduate students of ear training. Students who have completed the seventh level of composition or conducting may optionally enroll.
