Part II is titled "Traditional Methods of International Settlement," introducing the three major methods—remittance, collection, and letters of credit—most commonly used in China's trade practice. Part III is titled "Documents in International Settlement," covering various documents used in international settlement, including basic and ancillary documents. Part IV is titled "Financing and Guarantees in International Settlement," introducing new international settlement practices such as bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, forfaiting, and international factoring. The book is interspersed with numerous examples and case studies, enabling readers to analyze common issues in international settlement practice, their solutions, and standardized operational procedures more concretely.
