Kazuharu Nakagawa, a woman abandoned by her lover after six years of love, comes to a snowy mountain to commit suicide. The harsh weather on the mountain makes her hesitate, and she is saved by a passing climber. She falls instantly in love with this stranger. After being reborn, she works as a hostess at night in a club and is noticed by the leader of the cult, the Angel of Prophecy, Fugen. When she is kidnapped by the Angel of Prophecy, she is rescued by her savior, Kazuhara Kishio, and the two fall in love.
At middle age, Yamaguchi Naoyoshi finally builds his own house and lives a happy life with his wife and children. His wife has an affair with someone else and joins the cult. Later, she is killed in a fire at a hotel while having an affair. To avenge his wife, he joins the Victim Association of the Angel of Prophecy. Kazuhara's wife and daughter are killed in a fire when their car collides with the car of the cult leader, Fugen. Kazuhara swears to avenge his wife and fights alone against the Angel of Prophecy. He abducts Fugen, the leader of the Angel of Prophecy, to the snowy mountain for the final showdown, and the two perish in the same fire.
At the foot of the mountain, Kazuharu Nakagawa waits alone among the cherry blossoms for Kazuhara's return.
