Features: The annual main competition of the China Interior Design Association, organized by the Interior Design Branch of the China Institute of Architecture, has successfully been held for 8 editions. The 2004 Eshenuo Cup Grand Prize Competition is about to be announced and awarded. I have reviewed the works submitted for this competition and am very pleased. First, I noticed that many young designers participated, especially those from remote areas, reflecting the rapid growth and improvement in the level of young designers in our country. In the past 20 years, China's interior design industry has developed rapidly, with many outstanding designers creating high-standard works. The overall improvement of the more than 200,000 designers across the country is crucial. Only with a large number of high-level designers and well-supported design firms can we meet the needs of the times and fully enhance the quality of the living environment in our country. This hope is placed on the majority of young designers in the design team. We hope that this grand prize competition platform can play a role in showcasing and nurturing outstanding young designers. We also warmly welcome young designers from all walks of life to use this platform to demonstrate their talents and, to exchange ideas and learn from each other, and to quickly improve their design skills and level.
