Features: Compared to some existing insurance casebooks in China, this work has three distinctive characteristics:
First, case selection. The book is divided into ten chapters, each introducing and analyzing six cases. These cases are carefully selected, representing typical examples that require thoughtful analysis and present certain challenges.
Second, strong academic rigor. For each selected case, the book does not simply adopt the "case summary, analysis, conclusion" triad, focusing primarily on case summaries and conclusions. Instead, it follows a "case introduction, problem discussion, case analysis" process, emphasizing the discussion of the proposed problems and the step-by-step analysis of the case. During the analysis, it not only addresses relevant insurance concepts and theories but also clarifies various concepts and theories related to insurance. The analysis proceeds layer by layer, explaining one problem at a time, moving from simple to complex, from the surface to the core, and guiding readers to think step by step until they reach the correct conclusion for the case.
Third, comparative analysis between China and the world. Whether discussing domestic cases or analyzing foreign cases, the book focuses on comparing the differences between Chinese and international insurance legal systems and insurance theories. This enables readers to consolidate and enhance their existing fundamental knowledge of insurance while becoming familiar with and mastering some famous cases in the international insurance market. Thus, it helps cultivate their comprehensive application and analytical skills in insurance case studies, better preparing them for participation in insurance practices both domestically and internationally.
