Features: Children are innocent and naive, but at the same time, they are constantly growing and gradually maturing. By studying many issues in children's art expression in accordance with the laws of their physical and psychological development, and respecting their own way of expression, it will help to grasp their characteristics and better achieve our educational goals. We believe that in handling the relationship between aesthetic appreciation and expression, appreciation is always in the forefront. Whether appreciating natural environments or artistic works, it can more easily evoke a strong sense of beauty in children and stimulate their desire to express beauty. Additionally, we must find ways to encourage children to imagine from their unique perspectives and transform these into expressions with their own individuality and characteristics. Only in this way can we further deepen their aesthetic experience of the things and events around them.
Furthermore, the experiential learning of children in mastering aspects such as shapes, colors, composition, and the use of tools and materials should be closely integrated with their actual lives. Through their understanding and reflection of the people and events around them, their unique charm with their own artistic personality will be revealed. If we persistently detach ourselves from aesthetic experience and merely appreciate or express for the sake of it, the children we raise may end up merely mastering some dull skills at best, or at most, a group of painters who can only copy what they see.
Therefore, when selecting art works suitable for children's appreciation, we must closely link their exploration of the surrounding world and their pursuit of beautiful emotions, always prioritizing their actual life experiences. Gradually and appropriately, we should provide them with excellent art works that match their level of appreciation and life experiences, integrating reality with art appreciation tightly. Let them deeply feel from various rich experiences of appreciation that it is not just a part of their art activities, but also a part of a beautiful life. This experience will instill in children a yearning for a beautiful life, and what it reflects must be a joyful childhood. Such a wonderful world of children will accumulate invaluable spiritual wealth for their continuous healthy growth in the future.
