Features: The "Chaozhou Folk Art Collection" includes "Chaozhou Paper Cutting," "Chaozhou Ceramics," "Chaozhou Wood Carving," and "Chaozhou Embroidery and Lacework," all of which have now been fully published. This fills the gap in systematically and comprehensively introducing the finest examples of folk art in the Chaoshan region, which has a long history and rich folk crafts but has always lacked a systematic and complete illustrated collection. Such a large-scale, multi-volume collection of regional folk art is a first in Guangdong Province and rare even across the entire country. The "Chaozhou Paper Cutting" volume includes 354 pieces of Chaozhou folk paper-cutting works, categorized into "Chaozhou Opera Figure Flowers," "Seasonal Festival Offering Flowers," and "Display and Appreciation Flowers." Among them, the paper-cutting designs such as tooth chop flowers, pomelo flowers, pig head flowers, and duck flowers used for decorating gifts and offerings are unique to Chaozhou paper-cutting art and are not found in other regions of China.
