Features: This book is a national key textbook for the "Nineth Five-Year Plan" in general higher education and a key textbook for the Ministry of Electronics Industry under the "Nineth Five-Year Plan." The first edition (1996) won the First Prize of the Third National Excellent Textbook Award for Electronic Engineering Majors. With the rapid development of electronic and computer technology, methods for analyzing and designing electronic circuits have undergone significant changes. Electronic Design Automation (EDA) technology has become an essential tool and method for designing modern electronic systems. Therefore, this book, based on traditional electronic design methods, introduces EDA technology, using new devices, new methods, and new tools to analyze and design typical electronic circuits. The book is divided into four parts, totaling 11 chapters.
In the first part (Chapters 1-2), "Experimental Basics of Electronic Circuits," it provides numerous basic experimental circuits to help beginners gain fundamental training in electronic circuit design. The second part (Chapters 3-7), "Electronic Circuit Design," introduces traditional design methods and testing techniques based on quantitative estimation and circuit experiments, aiming to strengthen students' engineering design training. It includes 15 design projects for low-frequency and high-frequency circuits, 10 design projects for digital circuits, 7 comprehensive design projects combining analog and digital circuits, as well as 15 problems from the National Collegiate Electronic Design Competition.
The third part (Chapters 8-9), "Electronic Circuit Design Automation," introduces the PSpice software for assisted analysis and design of electronic circuits, providing 8 typical circuit analysis examples. The Protel for Windows software is used for the automatic design process of high-density printed circuit boards. It also covers the development process and application circuit design methods of General Array Logic (GAL) devices, the use of the ABEL-HDL hardware description language to design typical digital logic circuits, and the internal structure and application design examples of Altera's MAX7000S and FLEX10K series.
The fourth part (Chapters 10-11) introduces the application techniques of general electronic instruments and high-frequency electronic instruments. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate and associate-degree students in electrical and electronic engineering majors, covering electronic technology and electronic circuit experimental courses or design projects. It is also a valuable reference for engineering technicians engaged in electronic design work.
