Features: In recent years, with the increasing academic workload and the "fast-foodization" of daily diets, more and more children have developed conditions such as myopia, obesity, and precocious puberty, which have affected their growth to some extent. Some parents, when faced with such situations, often feel overwhelmed, unsure of what to do, or resort to desperate measures. Based on our understanding, there is currently no specialized popular science literature in the market that focuses on common children's illnesses, providing guidance for parents and teachers. In summary, this is the origin and our initial intention behind the "Series on the Prevention and Treatment of Common Childhood Illnesses." This series consists of six titles: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Children, Childhood Obesity, Childhood Accidents, Precocious Puberty in Children, Child Dental Problems, and Child Eye Diseases. The style aligns with that of the "Prevention and Treatment of Common Diseases and Family Rehabilitation" series—easy-to-understand text and lively illustrations. The books are published in large 32-page format with color printing and are reasonably priced. They are suitable for both parents and teachers as references and can also be read independently by upper elementary students. To help the next generation grow better, we want to say to all parents and teachers who hope their children excel—beyond academics, health should also be a top priority. Children are the future, and caring for their healthy growth is a shared responsibility of both families and society. In recent years, with the increasing academic workload and changes in lifestyle and dietary habits, more children have developed conditions such as obesity, myopia, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, affecting their healthy development and causing distress for parents and teachers. This series provides clear and detailed introductions to the basic characteristics, causes, symptoms, examination methods, and treatments for each illness. It also informs readers about disease signals and common misconceptions, as well as how to prevent illness at home. This enables parents and teachers to identify, diagnose, and treat common childhood illnesses early on.
