Features: This book is the second collection of the "Science and Life" series programs from the "The Promise of the Century" program. The selected programs span from the end of last year to early April this year. During these five months, "Science and Life" has received great appreciation from the audience and the science community. The program has been highly valued by Beijing Television Station, not only broadcasting a 30-minute version on Channel 1 but also a 50-minute version on Channel 3. The program group was awarded the title of "National Science Popularization Advanced Unit" by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the China Association for Science and Technology at the end of last year. The book's table of contents is arranged in the order of program broadcasts, while the main text largely retains the format and original conversation flow of the programs.
