Elementary reinforced concrete structures

Features: This book is one of the bilingual teaching series textbooks for civil engineering majors. Given the differences in teaching and engineering practices of "Reinforced Concrete Structures" courses in different countries, textbooks from abroad are often not suitable for domestic teaching. Therefore, it has become necessary to develop English textbooks that align with China's context. The first edition was published in 1992 and received widespread acclaim. This book is revised and expanded based on the first edition, incorporating the newly revised and promulgated "Code for Design of Concrete Structures GB50010-2002" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. The writing of this book focuses on structural design practice, combining the fundamental principles and methods of reinforced concrete structure design with the relevant design codes. This book can serve as the English textbook for "Reinforced Concrete Structures" courses in domestic universities and colleges, as well as a reference for reinforced concrete structure engineering design personnel. It can also be used as a reference for overseas civil engineers to understand China's current design standards.
