Features: This series of textbooks was compiled based on the 14 core courses for economics and management, as determined by the "Reform Plan for Teaching Content and Curriculum Systems in Higher Education Towards the 21st Century" organized by the Ministry of Education. These 14 courses are: "Political Economy," "Macroeconomics," "Microeconomics," "International Economics," "Econometrics," "Economic Law," "Public Finance," "Banking and Monetary Economics," "Management," "Marketing," "Management Information Systems," "Accounting," "Financial Management," and "Statistics."
When compiling this series of textbooks, we strive to embody the following principles:
1. Adaptability: Primarily elaborating on fundamental principles and methods, aiming to simplify, standardize, and accurately present content to suit the current realities of China's general higher education institutions.
2. Inheritance: Adhering to the principles of inheritance and development, we conscientiously summarize and absorb the essence of existing textbooks in China. We have systematically and innovated theories and methods from past textbooks that align with the requirements of the current market economy and actively incorporated them into the textbooks, ensuring a degree of continuity.
3. Pioneering: We actively adopt theories and methods from developed countries that meet the requirements of China's market economy, hoping to draw lessons for China's economic development. At the same time, we strive to reflect the latest achievements in theory and practice, as well as the newest policies and regulations, in China's economic reform process.
4. Comprehensiveness: The authors of this series of textbooks come from all over the country, breaking the boundaries of individual schools or regions. We have made every effort to include influential universities and teachers in the fields of economics and management, drawing on the strengths of various sources.
The authors participating in the compilation of this series of textbooks include professors from universities such as Renmin University of China, Peking University, Central University of Finance and Economics, Capital University of Economics and Business, and China University of Political Science and Law. They are all experts in the fields of economics and management, with extensive theoretical and practical experience.
A high-quality textbook plays an immeasurable role in talent cultivation. We hope that teachers will continue to care for and support our work, promptly reporting any issues encountered while using this series of textbooks and suggestions for improvement to the chief editors or publishing house editors for reference during revisions.
