The judicial exam is largely about case studies. Beyond the basic question types in the fourth exam paper being narrowly defined as case questions, most single-choice, multiple-choice, and uncertain-choice questions in the other three exam papers also fall under the category of case questions. Currently, almost all teaching materials are either purely theoretical explanations or interspersed with a few decorative case studies. The lack of appropriate and abundant case studies in theoretical explanations can easily make the material feel dull, hindering candidates' ability to improve their practical skills.
In light of this, we collaborated with Li Shichun of China Legal Publishing House to develop the National Judicial Exam Key Point Case Study Series. The series consists of four volumes: Civil and Commercial Law, Criminal Law, Procedural Law, and Economic, Administrative, and International Law. Organized according to the chapters of the national judicial exam syllabus, the series categorically summarizes key points prone to being tested, analyzes them through case studies, and strives to provide logical problem-solving frameworks in the form of charts to achieve the effect of learning by analogy. Additionally, it elaborates on key issues to be noted for each key point.
Thus, the features of this series are:
1. Explains specific key points through concrete cases.
2. Elucidates specific cases through detailed analysis.
3. Expands the knowledge space not covered in the analysis with relevant knowledge.
4. Integrates specific knowledge blocks into an organic and complete judicial exam knowledge system.
The authors of this series are all law PhDs with long-term research on the judicial exam and years of multiple participation in exam tutoring. They come from Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, and Peking University. Their deep expertise in their respective fields ensures the professional accuracy of the series, while their extensive involvement in exam tutoring guarantees its relevance to the exam.
