Features: This book is dedicated to boys and girls who are preparing to fall in love or are already in a relationship. It helps them determine if they are truly in love, guides them on how to appear more attractive to the opposite sex, how to pursue someone, how to date, how to handle conflicts, and how to avoid sexual harassment. It also shares experiences of breakups and the journey to marriage. On one hand, it helps young men and women understand the "whys" of love, and on the other hand, it guides them to gradually explore and cultivate the correct attitude and skills for gender relationships.
During my interactions with high school vocational students, college students, and graduate students, I have sensed their yearning for and confusion about love. Through individual counseling, group guidance, and teaching, I strive to provide students with a realistic understanding of love and help them develop balanced gender relationships. In the process of teaching and gathering information, I have harbored a wish—to write a book for young men and women who are either preparing for or already in a relationship. It aims to help them determine whether their feelings are friendship or love, whether they are truly in love, and to guide them on how to appear more attractive to the opposite sex, how to pursue someone, how to date, how to handle conflicts, and how to avoid sexual harassment. It also shares experiences of breakups and the journey to marriage. Through this book, I hope to help these teenagers and young adults understand the "whys" of love and gradually explore and cultivate their attitudes and skills for gender relationships.
At the beginning of each chapter, there is a pop song that boys and girls enjoy. The familiar lyrics and melodies often evoke a sense of resonance. Accompanying each chapter's theme, there are expert theories and research findings to enhance readers' "cognition" of gender relationships. Psychological tests or columns are included to encourage self-exploration and reflection. Not only does it help you decode the psychological codes in your interactions with the opposite sex, but it also provides practical tips for navigating gender relationships.
At the end of each chapter, there are recommended books or movies to broaden and deepen the discussion and understanding of each chapter's theme. By carefully reading these books and watching these movies, you are sure to gain valuable insights.
This book is based on the principles of being "lively," "vivid," "interesting," and "energetic." Its focus and writing style revolve around the lived experiences of teenagers and young adults, aiming to positively and constructively influence their understanding, emotions, and intentions in gender relationships. Although I have done my best, I still need sincere feedback from all. Any feelings or thoughts you have about using this book are highly valuable to me, and I am more than willing to listen and accept them.
