It is understandable that people have a strong interest in it and its history. The "Soviet Series" was compiled precisely to provide academic resources for such research. Most of the books in this series, especially those on Russian history, are original editions from this library. Some are borrowed from sister publishers, while others are newly translated. The series reflects the political, economic, military, historical, geographical, philosophical, cultural, educational, and religious aspects of the Soviet Union after the October Revolution and the Russian Empire before it. Although the topics of this series were carefully studied and opinions were sought from experts on Soviet issues, it is inevitable that there may be some inaccuracies, and we hope readers will bear with us. Commercial Press, January 1993. This book is one of the "Soviet Series" and is the last book published in the 10 years before the dissolution of the Soviet Union. It is also the only book that discusses the path of Soviet industrialization. As the name suggests, it not only narrates the historical process of Soviet industrialization but also the experiences and problems it encountered. Soviet industrialization has always been a subject of debate. The distinguishing feature of this book compared to other similar works from the Soviet era is its novelty. The author points out that the technological revolution is the main driving force behind the development of productive forces and the main thread of Soviet industrialization. The breakthroughs in production records during the Stakhanov movement were inseparable from the improvement of production organization and the utilization of new technologies, and the enthusiasm and initiative of workers were based on necessary material incentives. From this new perspective, the author provides us with a series of previously unseen historical materials, recreating the history of Soviet industrialization and offering insights for our ongoing modernization efforts.
