(6) Vocabulary: Each lesson introduces 20-50 new words.
(7) Grammar Notes: Explains the structure of Chinese grammar.
(8) Grammar Exercises: Designed based on the lesson's grammar points, including fill-in-the-blanks, word order adjustments, word combinations, and sentence creation.
(9) Speaking Practice: Includes exercises such as imitation, substitution, selection, and word/phrase/sentence matching.
(10) Reading: Each lesson includes 1-2 reading materials paired with the lesson's content, featuring Pinyin and English translations (with new words listed separately). Each reading passage comes with exercises, including multiple-choice and open-ended questions.
Upon completing the intermediate level, students will master 1,200-1,400 vocabulary words and phrases and 2,500-3,000 Chinese characters.
