Features: The "China Urban Economy" magazine, jointly sponsored by the China Postdoctoral Special Huawa Research Workstation and the China Urban Economy Society, has established a "Urban Finance" column, providing a platform for postdoctoral researchers to showcase their research findings, which has been actively supported by them. The Workstation has collaborated with the Institute of Finance at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to launch the "Special Huawa Finance Forum." Each issue focuses on hot topics in China's economic and financial fields, facilitating exchanges and discussions. Currently, the "Special Huawa Finance Forum" has generated significant influence in the industry and has attracted widespread attention from various sectors of society. To better promote academic research and exchange, showcase the latest research findings of our postdoctoral researchers, and contribute to China's economic and financial theory and empirical research, we have compiled the academic papers published by postdoctoral researchers in 2003 and 2004 into the "China Finance Series" (2004) and "China Finance Series" (2005) for the readers' enjoyment.
