Features: The Forest Animals
People often say that one tree cannot make a forest, and the word "forest" itself occupies five "wood" characters. From a purely visual perspective, we can already understand its external features—there are numerous trees. However, human understanding of it goes far beyond that. Historians say it is a symbol of historical rise and fall; economists say it is a green treasure trove; ecologists say it is a biological oxygen producer; soil scientists say it is a guardian of soil; hydrologists say it is a natural water reservoir; geophysicists say it is a valiant defender against wind and a long wall against sand; environmental scientists say it is an air filter and a noise dampener.
However, for creatures of varying shapes and sizes, it is a beautiful home bestowed upon them by nature. There, not only are bushes and vines intertwined, flowers competing in beauty, but there are also abundant food resources. Without the destructive and disruptive actions of human exploitation, whether the agile birds, fierce beasts, or cautious reptiles, would all live freely and peacefully in this realm far from the hustle and bustle of the city, thriving and multiplying endlessly. Let us come together to cherish this spiritual and vibrant home, treating our animal friends with kindness while protecting ourselves in the process.
The Animals Around Us
Around us, there are many beautiful and adorable little creatures. Nowadays, especially those living in bustling urban areas, are busy and rushed, rarely paying attention to their existence. But if you calmly turn your gaze to the windows or treetops in your daily life, you will discover the small beings living among us—both magpies perched on branches and sparrows chirping. In fact, there are many wonderful creatures around us: insects, geckos, bats, mice, and more. They are all essential links in the vast biological chain. Additionally, many of these animals have been domesticated and have become good friends to humans. These animals live among us and are closely related to us.
All life is beautiful, and they naturally deserve attention. The famous American writer Thoreau once said, "Only with a calm heart can one truly appreciate beauty." Discovering and appreciating the beauty of nature is not difficult at all. As long as you pay close attention to the life around you, you will easily notice the vibrant vitality that surrounds you.
