Give you a golden key to let angels grow happily! This book is a part of the Healthy Psychology Self-Help series, corresponding to the early childhood stage, facing three early development crises:
First, the "Trust vs. Mistrust" crisis from birth to one year old. The main task of infants in this stage is to meet their physiological needs, develop a sense of trust, overcome mistrust, and experience the realization of hope. Infants experience physical well-being and a sense of security from the satisfaction of their physiological needs, thus developing a fundamental trust in their surroundings. Conversely, infants develop a sense of mistrust or suspicion toward their environment.
Second, the "Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt" crisis from one to three years old. During this stage, children primarily develop a sense of autonomy while overcoming shame and doubt, experiencing the realization of will.
Third, the "Initiative vs. Guilt" crisis from three to six years old. This stage is the preschool and play period, where the main developmental task is to gain a sense of initiative and overcome guilt, experiencing the realization of purpose.
This part of the book explores developmental, adaptive, behavioral, and educational issues that arise in infants and young children from the perspectives of growth and development, adaptation, behavior, and education, offering positive suggestions and effective methods for teachers and parents to deal with children in this age group. Based on our research, this book summarizes the current psychological issues of young children into six major parts: growth and development, language development, personality and social development,, and family education.
