Yao Ling came down to the human world to search for the "Dream Book," which was accidentally dropped there. By chance, she met a boy named Hyunju. The two embarked on a journey together to find the traces of the "Dream Book," experiencing various events along the way. During this process, they realized the true meaning of friendship and the love of the human world. They organized various extracurricular interest groups at the Vigorous Growth School, but due to a book demon in the library, no child was willing to join the book collection group. Only Jiang Xian joined the book collection group out of gratitude for the teacher's care.
Since their search for the "Dream Book" failed, Yao Ling and Lai Pisu, Dunden Zhuu, and Dugu had conflicts. However, when they once again heard about the book's location, they united and took action. Meanwhile, the Dugu brothers arrived. They and Yao Ling and the others unknowingly hid in the book delivery boxes. After these boxes were delivered to the school library, another battle ensued. Although Yao Ling ultimately defeated the Dugu brothers with magic and seized the book, she sadly discovered that it was not the "Dream Book" she was looking for.
At Jiang Xian's house, due to a heavy rainstorm overnight, the father and son began sorting through the wet books the next day. At this moment, a candy seller passed by and accidentally took away one of the father's picture books. When Yao Ling bought candy, she was surprised to find the picture book tied with a ribbon. However, the Dugu brothers had also tracked Yao Ling to this spot.
