Features: Shanghai Luwan, a land full of aspirations, classic elegance, and charm. Inspired by the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the "Eight Years in a Blink" photography competition, celebrating the development of Luwan, was launched on the New Year's Eve of 2003. A group of photographers from home and abroad gathered in Luwan, capturing the traces of its years through artistic spirit and creative passion in the confines of a frame. The profound historical context, the reshaping of modern civilization, the trend of urban leisure and fashion, the nostalgic elegance of Shikumen architecture, and the pursuit of excellence by the people of Luwan—all became eternal due to the splendid and wonderful moments. Eight years of moments will clearly show the world the trajectory of Luwan's transformation and development, and genuinely convey its fervent anticipation for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo. Eight years of moments have found a deeply meaningful beginning. Let us look forward to next year, to meet again in Luwan, to focus on Luwan, and to experience the splendid and wonderful moments.
