Features: World War II was a unprecedented human tragedy. Tan Na directs the history itself; the main theme is the eternal struggle between justice and evil; the curtain rises with the fascists' clowns; while the Allied Powers' brilliant commanders emerge to turn the tide. Their outstanding performances, on the vast stage of time and space, showcase human wisdom and courage, and amidst the silence and ashes of war, they reveal the bright side of humanity. This book first introduces figures such as Stalin and Zhukov of the former Soviet Union, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, MacArthur, and Patton of the United States, and Churchill, Mountbatten, and Montgomery of the United Kingdom. They were the rising stars of World War II, the backbone of the Allied Powers, who stood firm under pressure and averted danger when Nazism threatened the world. Adhering to the principle of not "discarding words for the sake of the person," the book also includes a commander from a fascist country—Rommel. He was one of Hitler's most capable generals in launching fascist aggression. His hands were stained with the blood of Allied soldiers, and he undoubtedly faced severe condemnation and the curse of the world. However, as an outstanding commander, his talent for transforming military into art remains worthy of study and reference for later generations. World War II has become history, and those legendary figures have long faded into the dust. Let us open the cover, look back at the bloody history, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the present, while devoutly hoping: May such disasters forever remain in the annals of history, forever sealed in those memories; may what accompanies humanity henceforth be endless peace and eternal harmony.
