"Communicative Chinese" divides daily spoken language into several topics, with one topic covered per lesson. Each lesson includes situational dialogues, vocabulary, common phrases, cultural background knowledge, language points, annotations, and substitution exercises, aiming to integrate understanding and usage. To help domestic and international television audiences and learners grasp the content more quickly and achieve simple communication with Chinese people, we present each lesson in three episodes in the television program. The first two episodes focus on explaining dialogues, accompanied by cultural background knowledge and language point explanations. The third episode focuses on review, repeatedly playing situational dialogues, along with common phrases and substitution exercises, fully reflecting the principle of prioritizing dialogue with supplementary exercises. The goal is to enable audiences to master basic daily Chinese communication skills through watching the television program and studying the textbook.
