Features: Urban design is closely related to both architecture and planning, yet it is also a relatively independent field. It is an art that organizes buildings into a unified composition. Urban design primarily focuses on designing and constructing public spaces in cities, towns, and smaller communities within urban areas. Building on the theories of "Beauty and Decoration" and "Streets and Squares," this book strives to combine the main content of urban design with the fundamental theories of urban construction. It emphasizes discussions on cities and their forms, urban residential areas, streets, and tenement housing, among other topics.
