Features: The School of Archaeology and Museology, Peking University, and the Qinghai Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology jointly conducted emergency excavations at the Tubo Tombs in Dunlan, Qinghai, in 1999. This book is the excavation report of four tombs from that campaign. It sequentially records the tomb structures and artifacts of the four tombs. Although these tombs were largely looted, some wooden prints, gold and silver ornaments, leather items, wooden objects, pottery, and fabric fragments still remain. At the end of the book, there is a special discussion on the unearthed Tibetan script, Taoist talismans, human remains, and pigments.
