Features: This book is a planned teaching material for higher vocational and community colleges under the Ministry of Education. It is compiled based on the guiding principles of the Ministry of Education for talent cultivation in higher vocational and community colleges, drawing on extensive teaching experience in recent years. This book can serve as a professional foundational course textbook for chemical process technology and polymer material processing majors in higher vocational and community colleges. In terms of content and presentation, the book considers the characteristics of higher vocational and community college teaching, emphasizing the "three realities" principle of "practical, applicable, and hands-on." While ensuring the fundamental content, it also focuses on supplementing relevant new theories, knowledge, and technologies. This textbook integrates analytical chemistry with the performance testing of polymer materials. The analytical portion includes: Introduction to Analytical Chemistry, Titrimetric Analysis, Identification and Analysis of Polymer Materials, and Instrumental Analysis. Its main task is to apply appropriate analytical methods to identify the components of polymer materials (including quantitative and qualitative analysis). The testing portion primarily focuses on the mechanical, electrical, thermal, optical, aging, and other properties of rubber and plastic materials, mostly referring to national standards. To facilitate student learning, learning objectives and requirements have been added at the beginning of each chapter, and "Knowledge Windows" have been included at the end of each chapter to broaden students' perspectives.
