1. Blank School, Third Normal University in the South City is the most renowned comprehensive normal university in the area. Located in the eastern suburbs of the city, it is about two hours away from the city center. The school is surrounded by undeveloped wilderness. Due to the inconvenient transportation, few people from the city come to this area, and students and teachers only take the school bus to the city to shop on weekends. Otherwise, they mostly wander around the campus and the wilderness. As a result, the school is relatively quiet but remains a tranquil place for studying. The school has produced many talented individuals over the years, which is probably related to its location. However, the school is still a place where young people gather, and although there is no urban hustle and bustle on campus, it has its own kind of liveliness, with students creating a vibrant atmosphere in their own ways. Jiang Shichao is one of the most vibrant among them—while other students are already in their prime, he is still "growing." At just 12 years old, he entered Third Normal University three years ago at the age of 9, with outstanding achievements in the South City science and math competition. Since then, Jiang Shichao has been a prominent figure on campus. Not only because of his early wisdom, but also because of the seven diamond-sized gems embedded on his forehead. The seven small diamonds, like green beans, sparkle on his fair face, complementing his long lashes and bright eyes, giving him an ethereal aura. Many people have asked him about the origin of the diamonds, and some even used various "cruel" methods to try to remove them, but none succeeded. He doesn't mind people doing so, as he has long understood that special events attract special attention. However, even he is not entirely clear about the matter, so he cannot satisfy people's curiosity. Fortunately, time can everything. After a year of frenzy, people's interest in him has faded, except for the brief excitement during the first few months of each new semester. At 12, Jiang Shichao has successfully blended into the ordinary crowd.
"Shichao, let's go play ball!" Lin Liao, his roommate, called out to him with a ping-pong paddle. Jiang Shichao, still a child, was only 1.55 meters tall. While he also loved sports like basketball and volleyball, which require height, no one was willing to play with him. However, in ping-pong, which doesn't require height, he was the best on campus and had rarely faced a match. Hearing Lin Liao's call, he immediately responded and jumped down from the tree. By the way, he loves climbing trees very much. Lin Liao once jealously complained, "Ever since Shichao came, I haven't climbed a tree in a long time. Actually, I love climbing trees too!" His complaint was justified. Shichao's playful and cute appearance when climbing trees became a sight to behold on campus. From then on, any other boy who climbed a tree would be mocked by girls: "Do you still think you're only 12? Trying to be cute!!" How can a grown man dare to bring such humiliation upon himself? So, the boys had to "abstain from trees." What made it even more frustrating was that Shichao would put on a sympathetic expression and say, "Sisters, if they want to hang themselves, that's a different story!" After saying that, Shichao's face would be red for days—the result of "affection" from his senior classmates. Lin Liao grew up in the mountains, and in his words, climbing trees was the third most important thing in life after eating and sleeping, the joy of which cannot be described. The cruelty of not letting him climb trees was as severe as banning monkeys from climbing trees. So, when Shichao came down from the tree, Lin Liao shot him several "poisonous" glares. Shichao laughed and said, "Brother Lin, do you want to climb a tree?"
