Features: In 2001, the Ministry of Education first approved Capital Medical University and Nanjing Medical University to establish undergraduate programs in Rehabilitation Therapy, marking a significant milestone in the development of rehabilitation medicine education in China. However, on the path forward, practical challenges emerged—there were no applicable textbooks available domestically. To overcome this difficulty and meet teaching needs, Capital Medical University spearheaded the organization of 24 experts to compile this book, Techniques in Therapeutic Exercise. It provides detailed introductions to the principles, operational methods, and practical applications of various commonly used techniques in therapeutic exercise. The guiding philosophy of this book follows the "Three Basics" (basic theories, basic knowledge, basic skills) and "Five Qualities" (scientificity, ideological nature, advanced nature, inspirational nature, applicability) required for university textbooks, while appropriately introducing the latest domestic and international advancements. The focus lies on the combination of theory and practice to enhance hands-on skills. The book also includes over 500 illustrations of technical operations to facilitate readers' understanding, mastery, and application. The content of the entire book is a crystallization of advanced international experiences and domestic practical work, adhering to the unity of advancement and practicality. Most of the compilers have experience studying abroad and have long been engaged in rehabilitation therapy work and teaching domestically. The primary target audience for this book is undergraduate students in Rehabilitation Therapy programs, as well as clinical doctors who wish to specialize in rehabilitation and various professionals in rehabilitation medicine for reference in clinical rehabilitation therapy work.
