Features: An Bin, born in Dalian City in 1962, is the Director of the Department of Basic Art Education, Professor, and Master's Supervisor at the China Academy of Art. He is a doctoral student at the School of Art, Design, and Humanities, Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is primarily engaged in printmaking, oil painting, and watercolor painting. His works have been exhibited multiple times in national art exhibitions and other various national and international exhibitions, exchanges, thematic exhibitions, and joint exhibitions. His works have been selected for exhibitions in parts of Europe, America, Asia, and Africa, and he has held solo exhibitions in numerous museums and galleries both domestically and internationally. Many of his works have been collected by museums, galleries, and private collectors both domestically and internationally. He has received several important awards, including: Watercolor painting "Woman from Western Hunan with Headscarf" winning the Silver Award at the 7th National Art Exhibition; Printmaking "Crossing Barriers" winning the Silver Award at the 3rd Zhejiang Provincial Sports Art Exhibition; Printmaking "Shouting in the Rain" winning the Bronze Award at the 9th National Art Exhibition; Silk-screen printmaking "Life Poem" winning the Bronze Award at the 1st National Silk-screen Printmaking Exhibition; and in 1999, he won the "Lu Xun Printmaking Award." His main works include more than ten monographs such as "Color Character Sketching," "Figure Quick Sketch," "20th Century Chinese Printmaking and Its External World," "Sketching," "Color," and "Quick Sketch."
