Features: Since the early 1970s, Duo Duo's relentless and solitary exploration in poetic art has continuously inspired and influenced many contemporary poets. Through his awareness of pain and introspection on individual life, he reveals the dilemmas of human existence. With his almost frenzied challenges to culture and language, he has enriched the connotation and expressiveness of contemporary Chinese poetry. Duo Duo is hailed as a "Misty Poet," and his poetry is a perfect blend of politics, humanity, and modern poetic art. Duo Duo has won numerous awards abroad, and his poetry collections have been published in multiple languages, including English, French, German, and Spanish. This poetry collection includes over 100 poems by Duo Duo from 1972 to 1999, his first selected poetry collection published in mainland China after years of living abroad, and is also his most complete personal poetry collection.
