A philosopher in the West once told a story: A woman suffering from a terminal illness, with only weeks to live, spent her days thinking about the terror of death, her mood sunk to the lowest point. The philosopher went to comfort her and said, "Wouldn't it be better if you didn't spend so much time thinking about death and instead used that time to consider how to live happily for the rest of your life?" At first, the woman was very displeased, but when she saw the sincerity in the philosopher's eyes, she slowly understood his meaning. "You're right," she said with a hint of relief, "I've been thinking about how to die and completely forgot how to live." A week later, the woman passed away, and before her death, she expressed deep gratitude to the philosopher: "This week, I lived more happily than I had in a long time." "Suffering and happiness are not two realms, and delusion and enlightenment are not two minds," she had learned to think positively, so even as she left this world, she still felt a touch of happiness, closing her eyes with a smile, believing she would enter heaven. If she had continued to think only about death, she would have left this world in pain and would only have gone to hell. Whenever and whatever the circumstances, as long as you are still in this world, you must think positively. Heaven and hell are within people's hearts. Life may lack fame, fortune, or money, but it must have a good mood.
