Through the ages, the hardworking locals have cleared paths through mountains and built bridges over waters, leaving behind a variety of ancient bridges to this day. These ancient bridges not only come in diverse types but also possess unique designs, styles, artistic characteristics, and a long history. Taishun County has over 30 arch bridges with distinctive structures, including multi-layered wooden arch bridges, eight-angled support wooden arch bridges, and cantilever beam wooden flat bridges. Among them, multi-layered wooden arch bridges hold significant importance in the history of Chinese bridge technology.
