Zebra's Zoo

Features: This book is a satire of adults, depicting the adult world through the eyes of a child using the form of drawing animals. This is He Mi's satire of us; she is an outsider, observing us with a detached gaze, her satire is all-pervading: our vanity, apathy, ignorance, and irresponsibility. Every adult can see their own reflection in it, and I feel a sense of shame as well, yet even more amazed, because I discovered the talent of a child—her insight, calmness, and outstanding language skills. To say it mildly, this is the most moving writing I have read in recent years.
