Author Bio: The 21st Century Research Institute is an international cultural research society established by nine researchers from Japan specializing in history, cultural anthropology, archaeology, religious studies, and the history of life culture. Its purpose is to explore whether people can embrace the 21st century with a global perspective as communication and other scientific and technological advancements develop and the true era of globalization arrives. The World Atlas of Names and The World Atlas of Ethnicities are two significant research achievements of the 21st Century Research Institute and also its founding works.
