Features: In the past decade, we have continuously conducted research and exploration in this field, making the research content more systematic and comprehensive, thereby meeting clinical needs. This book, Applications of Stereotaxic Anatomy in the Human Brain, is compiled based on our own research data. Through the observation and measurement of a large number of brain specimens, followed by statistical analysis and processing, we have provided a wealth of precise, reliable, and valuable stereotaxic data for important neural nuclei within the Chinese brain. We have also introduced methods for locating the anterior and posterior commissures based on intracranial reference landmarks when ventriculography is suboptimal, as well as techniques for locating the anterior and posterior commissures using bony landmarks of the skull without ventriculography. Given the current widespread application of CT and MRI both domestically and internationally, and the trend of using CT and MRI for stereotaxic surgery, we have proposed a new CT scanning baseline to address the issue of inconsistency between CT scan images and standard brain sagittal plane. This book highlights fundamental knowledge and theories while emphasizing clinical applicability, providing neurosurgical professionals with practical anatomical data for conducting stereotaxic surgery. It also holds significant reference value for medical imaging professionals.
