Features: Advertising Selections from Europe and America takes the entire development of advertising into perspective, using modern advertising since the 20th century as its reference point. Clearly, we attempt to present a colorful scroll of advertising history while describing its trajectory, blending engaging reading with delightful viewing. Perhaps this is an attempt at a new reading method as traditional textual communication transitions into the era of visual symbols. From the perspective of advertising itself, its expression is inherently a combination of textual and visual forms, making this choice inherently meaningful. Of course, selecting the most brilliant stars from the hundred-year expanse of the advertising galaxy, it is difficult to assert that our choices are definitively valuable. However, these advertisements and the brands they represent hold significant representative meaning in the history of advertising. Even if they have now faded, they once captured as much attention as Halley's Comet. Therefore, in the splendid river of advertising history, they deserve our attention. We are fully aware that completing a perfect work of advertising classics is like gazing at the Chang'e on the moon—simply unattainable. Yet, "beauty like flowers separated by clouds" does not hinder us from "swimming upstream to follow, as if she is in the center of the water."
