Features: This series consists of four volumes, including "Guide to Chinese Language Examination," "Theories of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Language Subject Examination Guide," "Chinese Literature and Culture Subject Examination Guide," and "Lesson Plan Design for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages." It is particularly worth noting that "Lesson Plan Design for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages" is primarily aimed at addressing the issues candidates have faced in writing lesson plans for the "Theories of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Linguistics" exam over the years. This book provides only some reference models to help improve candidates' lesson plan writing skills. The series is comprehensive, covering all aspects of professional exams. It systematically discusses, analyzes, and details the "Examination Syllabus for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages," and also provides a detailed critique of the professional subject questions from the past two years of the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Qualification Exam. This helps candidates understand the fundamental requirements of the "syllabus," the essence of the questions, and the methods of solving them. The series features a novel style, highlights key content, presents a clear knowledge framework, and is well-organized, making it convenient for candidates to study and grasp the key points.
"Theories of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Linguistics Subject Examination Guide" is a reference material designated by the National Office for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (NOCOL) for the National Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Qualification Exam. It is designed to help candidates prepare for the exam. Based on the examination syllabus formulated by NOCOL, it "condenses" the designated reference books and highlights the key and essential points of the exam. Some content specified in the examination syllabus is not fully covered in the reference books, so we have supplemented it based on relevant materials. The "Guide" is organized according to the content and order of the examination syllabus, divided into three parts. The first part covers the basic theories of teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages; the second part covers the basic theories of linguistics; the third part is practical, including the past "Theories of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Linguistics" exam papers and reference answers from 2001 and 2002, which we believe will be helpful and inspiring for candidates. Additionally, the "Guide" includes the examination syllabus for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages and linguistics.
Some sections in the second part have been adjusted in order and content, mainly to meet the needs of the exam.
