Features: Ren Quan is a very responsible actor. He has his own standards and principles when choosing roles. He considers whether a role is challenging or suitable for his acting style, rather than just taking a project because it offers high pay or good commercial success. I believe actors like him are the kind who can have long-lasting careers and won’t fade away like shooting stars.
I thought for days about what to write for this book. I wanted to capture the excitement I felt at the time. Publishing a book at such a young age to write about history made me feel immense pressure. But I didn’t want to do work that was stressful, so I decided to face it calmly. I’ll share my true self over the years, my attitude toward life, the friendships I’ve made with my close friends, and the process of understanding society through both on-screen and off-screen experiences. If this can offer some inspiration to young friends, it will ease some of my concerns.
I also want to thank all the friends who have been supporting me behind the scenes. No matter what happens in the future, I’ll live a simple life and act with dedication, cherishing everything I have.
