Features: Paris, a dreamlike artistic nation. Leisurely people in cafes along the Seine, portrait painters under the Eiffel Tower, graceful women passing by, and the singing dogs of wandering artists in the subway—everywhere is filled with intoxicating romance. In this series of books, you can not only see the grandeur of famous stores but also discover hidden treasures within Paris. Everything in Paris depends on how you experience it. In today's world of immense material abundance, a commodity identical to others, if presented with great care in a highly creative display window, illuminated by special props and lighting, can truly be given a "life" and become "worth a hundred times its value." Parisian window displays are simple and clear. Often, there is open space next to important items, much like how open squares highlight monuments or sculptures. The front (base) and side panels of the window are where designers fully unleash their imagination. Whether to make it three-dimensional or flat depends on the personality of the product. Be flexible and break the rules: turn the flat into the curved, the horizontal into the vertical (hanging), and the upright into the lateral, achieving the magic of transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Parisian store sign designs are small and use simple colors—even the famous Lafayette (La Fayette) department store follows this trend. The facades of Parisian stores give a sense of homeliness. Many entrances don't "expand horizontally" at first glance, appearing small, but once you step inside, you realize they are long and deep (including basements). The roofs are high, but without additional stories, creating a transparent and open visual space. Window display designs are often deeply connected to posters, exhibitions, stage design, and even painting. If our window display designs can integrate these elements, they will produce extraordinary visual artistic effects.
