Features: This book tells a story that is both terrifyingly extreme and beautifully melancholic. Throughout, it is not only the skin-tingling, bone-deep fear that permeates the narrative, but also the eternal call of love. In the suffocating tension, profound love transcends 5,000 years of time, the city and the desolate village, life and death—only through the test of absolute fear can such moving and passionate romance burst forth. One day, four college students suddenly visit. They say that after reading the short story "Desolate Village" by "me" in the magazine "Sprout," they were driven by a desire to see it for themselves and insisted on exploring the desolate village. After the four return from the desolate village, they encounter accidents one after another within a few short days. Meanwhile, "I" also receive an email from a mysterious woman who calls herself "Nie Xiaoqian." From then on, all kinds of strange and eerie phenomena haunt me like ghosts, utterly inescapable. In the extreme fear of thirty days and nights, "I" and Xiaoqian fall deeply in love. However, the flute music from the desolate village awakens her memories. Xiaoqian does not belong to this world. Yet, I still hope to see her again. When the sacred jade ring returns to the underground palace, a flash of light reveals the truth of the age-old mystery.
