Publish Date: 2004-11-01
Features: This book systematically introduces computer control systems, covering the fundamental theories of dynamic systems with computer participation in control, as well as the design and implementation techniques of such systems. The book consists of 13 chapters, excluding the introduction, and is divided into three main parts:
1. Basic Theories of Systems, including an overview of computer control systems, signals in computer control systems, mathematical descriptions of computer control systems, and analysis of computer control systems.
2. System Design, including classical design methods for computer control systems, state-space design for computer control systems, and preliminary intelligent design of computer control systems.
3. System Engineering Implementation, including hardware and software of computer control systems, certain issues in engineering design of computer control systems, the application of embedded systems in computer control, programmable logic controllers, distributed control systems, and network control technology. Each chapter includes appropriate exercises and discussion questions. At the end of the book, there are commonly used tables for the Z-transform, an introduction to the application of symbolic language in MATLAB software, and answers to some exercises. This book can serve as a textbook for undergraduate students in automatic control, electrical engineering, instrumentation, and mechatronics. It can also be used as a foundational textbook for graduate-level teaching and as a reference book for related engineering professionals.
