The gifted young rabbit predicts that a devastating disaster from humans will strike the current rabbit territory. He and a brave and clever rabbit named Hazel go to meet the rabbit leader to persuade him to lead the rabbit colony out of the territory, but he is refused. So, before the disaster strikes, Little Tod and Hazel, along with a few other male rabbits, hastily leave the territory and embark on a perilous journey. After several life-and-death struggles with humans and other natural enemies, they arrive at the Wild Wood and begin to create a new territory. Due to the lack of female rabbits, the colony still faces the danger of extinction. They must take another risk, rushing to a farm to persuade caged rabbits to join their territory, while sending a diplomatic mission to a territory called Narnia to propose marriage. But the marriage proposal fails, and they engage in a life-and-death struggle with the tyrannical and ruthless leader there. In the end, they successfully but with great difficulty lead a large number of female rabbits back to the Wild Wood. However, it is far from over, as a more dangerous battle awaits them.
