Success in Brokerage Must-Read: Institutional Innovation and the Cultivation of Intermediary Organizations: Institutional Innovation and the Cultivation of Intermediary Organizations

Author: Li Hengguang
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2002-06-01
Features: One of the authors, Professor Li Hengguang, has been concerned with the issue of market intermediaries as early as 1993. Since then, he has continuously tracked the development of market intermediaries both domestically and internationally and conducted relevant research. In early 1999, he became an important member of the "Development and Cultivation of Chinese Social Intermediary Organizations" project under the National Invitation Program of the China Economic Reform Research Foundation, participating in the writing of the preliminary draft of the research report. In the past three years, he has published several articles on intermediary organization research. The other author, Wang Yan, works in the government and has long been concerned with the magnetic relationship between intermediary organizations and the transformation of government functions. Together, they completed this book, which, in a certain sense, also represents a consensus between the government and society. I was fortunate to be invited to write the preface for this book, and in recent years, I have worked successively in government, enterprises, and social intermediary organizations. Therefore, reading it brings me a strong sense of familiarity and deep insights. Here, I would like to recommend this book to readers who are concerned with the relationship between the government and intermediary organizations as a reader.
