Features: The cursive script collected in this dictionary represents the representative works of famous calligraphers from the Han Dynasty to the modern era, either in ink tracings or original rubbings. Among the representative works of cursive script by, some may not be entirely written in cursive script, but characters that conform to the features of cursive script are also included in this dictionary with consideration. During the compilation of this dictionary, advanced technological methods were adopted to perfectly preserve the original appearance of the works. For the convenience of readers in learning and reference, the selected example characters are generally arranged in chronological order by the authors, and appropriate scaling (enlargement or reduction) of the original characters has been applied. The determination of single-character entries in this dictionary is primarily based on previous research, but obvious inaccuracies have been corrected. At the end of this dictionary, there is an appendix titled "Brief Notes." The "Brief Notes" use concise and popular language, with vivid examples, to explain the formation process and patterns of cursive script. Appropriate revisions have also been made to parts of the interpretations by previous scholars that were not entirely appropriate.
