Features: Professor Jia Youfu of the Central Academy of Fine Arts has led teaching activities in the landscape painting studio for many years. With extensive experience in both teaching and creative practice, he has inherited and summarized the excellent teaching traditions of the fine arts department's Chinese painting program. He has established and progressively refined a new teaching philosophy for landscape painting that aligns with the developmental patterns of Chinese landscape painting and meets the demands of contemporary progress. Jia Youfu's landscape painting teaching philosophy has been proven to be scientifically sound. Over the years, numerous undergraduate, graduate, and advanced students, as well as learners from various sectors of society, have undergone rigorous training under this teaching system, achieving significant transformation and improvement in both their cognitive understanding and practical abilities. They have set lofty artistic goals and consciously devoted themselves to arduous self-cultivation. This time, to better summarize teaching experiences and achievements, we have compiled this collection of works in three series—copying, sketching, and creation—to introduce the specific content of Jia Youfu's landscape painting teaching system. It also includes works by teachers from Jia Youfu's studio, as well as a large number of outstanding works and papers that have emerged in recent years during the teaching process. These works collectively reflect the remarkable teaching outcomes of Jia Youfu's studio. We hope to strengthen communication and interaction with a broad readership, enhance teaching quality, and promote the flourishing of landscape painting creation.
